Interesting comment on the CNN site: by GWashington0 - This video is a fake, all OSama's favorites are in ENGLISH when the camera ZOOMS IN? The WHOLE SCREEN IS IN ENGLISH.Whomever recorded this (K)NEW that it would be shown to a western audience.
It does seem a little hokey - WHEN EXACTLY WAS THIS FOOTAGE SHOT? And why would all these channels be showing OBL at the same time? He hasn't been seen much on TV for YEARS (Not since the fake OBL Afghan VHS) ...
This via DOUG POWERS: Evidently Osama bin Laden, in addition to being a terrorist, was guilty of zoning violations and owed a bundle in property taxes!
In a previous post I told you about OBL's call to the BBC that he had nothing to do with the September 11 attacks. - Not many people know that, after September 11, 2001, Osama bin Laden issued a statement on tape that he had nothing to do with the attacks on America and that such actions were against the teachings of Islam. Americans were prevented from accessing this information because we were told that Osama could possibly have an embedded "secret code" in the tape that would alert other terrorists cells to "activate" and target other American cities. - Osama bin Laden: "I was not involved in the September 11 attacks in the United States nor did I have knowledge of the attacks. There exists a government within a government within the United States. The United States should try to trace the perpetrators of these attacks within itself; to the people who want to make the present century a century of conflict between Islam and Christianity."
In the first part of this interview which occurred in May 1998, a little over two months before the U.S. embassy bombings in Kenya and Tanzania, Osama bin Laden answers questions posed to him by some of his followers at his mountaintop camp in southern Afghanistan. In the latter part of the interview, ABC reporter John Miller is asking the questions.
